Deer tick related illnesses AND the Law on using lights to hunt varmints
Steve Callister, PhD in Bacteriology, is with the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He will tell us about deer tick associated illnesses in the upper Midwest – where the ticks are and symptoms to pay attention to.
Next we will talk with Dean Hansen who is trying to change current law on using lights to illuminate and shoot varmints. This is regarding Wisconsin statute 29.314 which restricts the use of light for hunting coyotes, foxes, raccoons, etc. We will talk with Dean about the pros and cons of existing law and proposed changes.
