Casting for Kids 2024 AND Invasive Aquatic Species in Madison Lakes
Our first guest is Wisconsin’s Hockey Radio Voice – Brian Posick. Brian is instrumental in Mark Osiecki’s Casting for Kids Fishing Tournament and we are going to talk with him about this amazing event. The 6th Annual Tournament is Saturday May 18, 2024.
Our Mission Statement: Our event was created to help children who are fighting cancer at the nationally recognized American Family Children’s Hospital / UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison WI. Participants in our event share a passion for children, community involvement and fishing. We are now in our sixth year raising money for the hospital, and we are proud to announce that we have raised over $620,000 so far!! Next up is Pete Jopke, we are so glad he has agreed to return to the show. Pete is Water Resources Planner for Dane County, Wisconsin Land & Water Resources Dept. We are going to talk with Pete about the Madison area Lakes, the water quality, and the status of invasive species.
