  Welcome back to John O’Brion owner and founder of  Grandpa Ray Outdoors.  We always learn so much from John when he talks with us.  We will be chatting with John about preparing for and planting spring food plots.

John has a degree in Ag Business/Ag-Economics. He became one of the first independent ruminant nutritionists in the United States and began selling alfalfa, clover, small grains, and other seeds.   He was also involved in research at the state level for the discovery farm program, sampling forages every week to show the differences in quality. Over the years he has provided nutrition work for farmers, other nutrition consultants and independent Agri businesses.     In 2015, he started Grandpa Ray Outdoors to educate people with an end goal of doing his part to change the wildlife industry.
