Our friend Pat Kalmerton, of Wolf Pack Adventures Fishing, is joining us for our GearHead Segment to talk about fishing for the great Brown Trout in the Milwaukee Harbors.

Next we have invited Mike Veserat back to the show to talk about the upcoming Milwaukee Muskie Expo. The Expo is held in West Bend, Wisconsin and runs from February 16th through the 18th. This is the largest Muskie show in Wisconsin!

And Ken Krueger has agreed to come back to the show. Thank goodness! Ken is Director of the Mercury National Walleye Tournament in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Ken will chat with us about the upcoming Sturgeon Spearing Season and how he prepares for this special event.

The spearing season begins on the second Saturday in February and lasts for 16 days or until any of the sex-specific harvest caps for that fishery have been reached. The 2024 sturgeon spearing season will open on Feb. 10 at 7 a.m. and close on Feb. 25 unless one of the harvest caps is reached earlier.
