Are You Ready For Archery Season? Are You & Your Dog Ready For Duck Hunting?

Keith Beam is joining us this Saturday.  You may remember that Keith was on our show a few months ago and he always has great stories and reports for us.  Keith is a great outdoorsman.  He loves fishing, shooting sports, and archery…to name a few.  He is an avid Whitetail and turkey hunter with his bow.  He has over 130 wild turkey kills to his credit by way of a bow and a well-placed arrow!    We are going to chat with Keith about getting ready for this year’s bow season.

And we are so glad to have Brian Stichter back on the show!  Brian is owner of High Brass Sporting Dogs & Guide Service in Arena, Wisconsin.  Brian is an an avid hunter and sportsman.  He has  trained many breeds of dogs over the years from rabbit beagles and tree dogs to terriers, spaniels, pointers and retrievers.  And he has  trained  with some of the finest trainers and hunters.  He is also a hunting guide and uses his amazing dogs in the hunt.   Brian is going to talk with us about this fall’s duck hunting season – getting your dog ready, getting your gun ready and getting yourself ready.  He will also talk about the blue-green algae and the potential danger to your dog.  Dogs are more vulnerable due to their activity in the water, but it can also be dangerous to humans.
