So, you want to get away? Try the Timbers Resort on beautiful Lake Gogebic in Bergland, Michigan. This is a year round resort that offers furnished cabins and camping facilities. They have docks for boats and they even rent boats and motors. The Timbers Resort is owned by Tim and Sarah Long. They can steer you around and help you explore the beautiful wilderness, forests, lakes, and rivers in the area. This hardworking couple is friendly and will make sure that you have everything you need during your stay.
Tim Long is a Professional Angler, a licensed captain with the US Coast Guard and a Professional fishing guide.
Now, I was there ice-fishing this past January on Lake Gogebic, which is Michigan’s largest inland lake with lots of big mature fish! There are plenty of walleye, smallmouth, bass, northern pike, and some of the biggest jumbo perch that you will ever see. We had a wonderful ice-fishing trip and I will return!!!
