What is New for the Hunter for 2023 AND Will Whitefish Commercial Fishing Be Increased on Green Bay?

And Mike Arrowood is joining us again.  Mike is with the organization ‘Walleyes for Tomorrow‘ (WFT).  This week we are going to talk about the final decision on the Wisconsin DNR proposal to increase commercial whitefish fishing on Green Bay and what effects may result.   

WFT is a project-oriented organization with the goal of increasing the population of walleye in the waters where habitat projects are undertaken. From our first project, the Eureka Dam Project on the Fox River in Wisconsin, WFT has been actively promoting more robust walleye populations through spawning habitat construction, enhancement and rehabilitation.
