A Girl & A Gun AND Qualifying for Bassmaster Rookie in The Elite Series

We are happy to welcome Starla Batzko back to the show.  Starla will be chatting with us about ‘A Girl & A Gun’ Women’s Shooting League’.  This amazing organization has over 7000 members (all women) across the country.  Starla is a certified shooting instructor and a facilitator for ‘A Girl & A Gun’.   She teaches safe use and handling of all three platforms:  handguns, rifles, and shotguns.  She also owns a successful family-run business called ‘Starla’s Seasonings and Mixes‘.   I think we can talk her in to sharing a recipe or two for wild game, fish, etc.

Our second guest this Saturday is Jay Przekurat.  Jay is an excellent bass fisherman and he is going to talk about his process in qualifying as a Rookie for the Bassmaster Elite Series.  What an exciting journey, Jay!

Career highlights: Jay earned his 2022 Elite Series invitation through the Bassmaster Central Opens. He has won two Opens — the 2019 Central Open at Grand Lake and the 2020 Eastern Open at Lay Lake — as a co-angler.
Did you know: Jay’s dad Jason has two Angler of the Year titles and two National Walleye Tour Championship victories.
