Casting For Kids Tournament AND Mercury National Tournament at the Walleye Weekend Festival

We are so excited to tell you about the 4th Annual CASTING FOR KIDS FISHING TOURNEMENT.   Mark Osiecki will be joining us this Saturday.  Mark is th founder of this wonderful charity event.  All net proceeds will benefit American Family Children’s Hospital / UW Carbone Cancer Center.  Mark Osiecki is an avid Muskie angler, a former NHL Hodkey League player and he was a very successful Wisconsin Badger Hockey player from 1987 to 1990.    Mark is currently a UW Badger Associate Head Coach for the Badger Men’s Hockey Program.

This year’s event is on Saturday May 21, 2022.  There is a fishing tournament and a subsequent happy hour, dinner and auction event.  For more details check their website:   Casting4kids.org

Then comes the Mercury Marine National Walleye Tournament  and Ken Krueger will be joining us to fill us in on the details.  This is the 44th annual event hosted by Mercury Marine!   This year’s event will take place June 11-12, 2022, on Lake Winnebago, at Oven Island in Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park during Walleye  Weekend 2022!   It is held in association with the Walleye Weekend Fest in Fond du Lac, WI.

Registration opens on March 21 at 9:00 am right here on MercuryNational.com until the 300 team limit is reached. Register EARLY to assure your spot or you might not get in.

Once again this year’s event will donate thousands of dollars to Walleye Conservation as it has done for more than 4 decades! In total, the annual Mercury National Walleye Tournament has donated not thousands but HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars in support of Walleye Conservation specifically on Lake Winnebago and in general.
