The Wonders of Wisconsin Outdoors AND Unique and Radical Bow Designs

We are so glad that Christine Tanzer is back with us this year.  Christine is with the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin and is going to tell us about this fabulous foundation and about the upcoming Foundation field trips for the whole family.

Our Mission:  The Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin connects generations to the wonders of Wisconsin’s lands, waters, and wildlife through conservation, education, engagement, and giving.

“We work to protect Wisconsin’s natural heritage by supporting critical conservation work through our grant programs offering opportunities for people to experience Wisconsin’s outdoors through our trips, and providing a means for people to help protect Wisconsin’s lands, waters, and wildlife that they cherish most, through our diverse ways to give.”

And we are  grateful that Skip Peterson is back with us this week.  Skip is a founding member of Gearhead Archery in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin.  Skip will tell us a little bit about the history of the company and, of course, their amazing products.

Gearhead Archery began developing unique and radical bow designs in 2008. Some of the early designs included bows with no crossover cables, power from springs and cam timing from gears. In fact, it was the timing gears on that bow, that gave Gearhead Archery its name.  In 2015 they started a dealer network and they are now known around the world.  The unique Gearhead bows are compact, have a true center-shot design and shoot quietly with extreme accuracy.
