Successful Coyote Hunting AND Pheasant Hunting, Habitat, and Land Use

Welcome back to Carson Mack.  Carson Mack is one of the most successful Coyote hunters around.  He has been hunting then for several years will talk with us about set-ups for hunting coyotes, scopes and thermal imagine, guns, and coyote callers.

“Coyotes are crafty, intelligent creatures that pose a serious threat to livestock, pets and humans.  Sheep and fowl are most commonly at risk of attack, concerns of attacks on both pets and occasionally humans mean that keeping the coyote population in check is very important.  Coyotes, along with a small number of other wild animals are among those whose population grows along with the growth of human society. They travel in packs of 3-10, with an alpha male who leads.  Coyote hunting is a common practice in America for control and sport.”

And we have a new guest joining us this Saturday, Dale Schultz, Former Member of the Wisconsin Senate.  Dale is going to talk about pheasant hunting, one of his favorite past times and wildlife habitat and land use.

Here is an interesting piece of information:  “In their spare time, Schultz and his wife Rachel own and manage their family farm, which became a Wisconsin Century Farm in 1998.”  Congratulations!
