Second Annual Casting for Kids Benefit / San Diego County Gun Owners
The second annual Mark Osiecki’s Casting for Kids Fising Tournament: Saturday June 1, 2019. The day includes a fundraising dinner after the tournament.
Mark Osiecki is joining us this Saturday to talk about this wonderful charity event. Last year’s event was a hug success!
Our event was created to help children who are fighting cancer at the nationally recognized University of Wisconsin American Family Children’s Hospital / Carbone Cancer Center. We raise money by asking local fishing guides to take participants out fishing (including National and local celebrities) in a tournament format.
In addition, the Casting for Kids event includes a fundraising dinner and both silent and live auctions with net proceeds being donated to the ‘University of Wisconsin American Family Children’s Hospital / Carbone Cancer Center’.
Our second guest is Wendy Hauffen from the ‘San Diego County Gun Owners‘, which includes the #NotMeSD program.
San Diego County Gun Owners (SDCGO) is a political organization focused on Second Amendment issues at the local level like city councils, county board of supervisors, school board, and Sheriff.
The #NotMeSD is a program to end sexual assault and domestic violence by giving women the resources they need in order to find the right instructor, purchase a gun that fits her needs, and apply for their concealed carry permit. This is a one-on-one program, run by women and designed for women, where Ambassadors answer all of their questions and help them through each of the steps.
