A Trip to the Sea of Cortez / Spring for Your Dog means Training and Ticks
WHAT’S ON YOUR BUCKET LIST? Don Becker’s bucket list included a trip to the Sea of Cortez and he will join us to tell us about his dream vacation!
So, I had to look this up, here is what Wikipedia says: “The Sea of Cortez is the Gulf of California, it is a marginal sea of the Pacific Ocean that separates the Baja California Peninsula from the Mexican mainland. The Gulf is thought to be one of the most diverse seas on the planet, and is home to more than 5,000 species of micro-invertebrates. Home to over a million people, Baja California is the second-longest peninsula in the world, after the Malay Peninsula in Southeast Asia.” Cool! Now, I want to go!
Next, it is time to talk about dogs and puppies. Brian Sticher, of High Brass Sporting Dogs, will talk about getting your dogs in shape after a looooong winter, preparing for the flea and tick season, and…..how to pick out a puppy. This year it is predicted to be an really bad year for ticks, we must protect our buddies!
